Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and Amigo LLC for using Reelist. The part that matters most is short: be decent to other members. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour, and we will remove both.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Reelist, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Reelist is operated by Amigo LLC.

Who can use Reelist

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms on your behalf.

Your account

Your account is tied to your phone number, and control of that number is the only thing that proves you are you. Keep it secure. If you lose control of the number, contact us at support@reelist.watch. You are responsible for everything done from your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the app. It is immediate and permanent, and the privacy policy describes exactly what that destroys.

Content and conduct

Do not post, upload, or send anything that:

• Harasses, bullies, threatens, or targets another person, or encourages anyone else to do so.
• Contains slurs or attacks anyone on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
• Is sexually explicit, or sexualises a minor in any way whatsoever.
• Depicts or glorifies violence, self harm, or cruelty.
• Is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonates another person, or misrepresents who you are.
• Is spam, a scam, or an attempt to phish or defraud other members.
• You do not have the right to post.

Also do not attempt to break the app: no scraping, no automated access, no reverse engineering, no interfering with other members' use of it, and no evading a block, a suspension, or a ban by making a new account.

Reporting and blocking

Every activity card and every comment has a report action, reachable from the menu in its header or by pressing and holding it. You can block any member from their profile, which hides each of you from the other in both directions. Reports go to a queue that a person reads, and we act on them within 24 hours.

If you have reported something urgent and have not seen it dealt with, write to support@reelist.watch.

Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. To run the app we need permission to store it and to show it to the people you have shared it with, so you grant us a non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free licence to host, store, reproduce and display your content for the purpose of operating Reelist. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account. You confirm you have the right to post whatever you post.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we may do it without notice where the content is seriously harmful.

Film data

Film titles, artwork, credits and streaming availability come from third parties, chiefly TMDB. Reelist is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. That material belongs to its owners and is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete or correct. Everything else in the app, including the name, the design and the software, belongs to Amigo LLC.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Reelist and delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, and we will terminate rather than suspend where the behaviour is serious. If we terminate your account for abuse, you may not create another one.

No warranty

Reelist is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, that it will be free of errors, or that the film data in it is accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Amigo LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Reelist. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or 50 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they do not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of Colorado, USA, and you and we each consent to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect rather than relying on you to re read this page. Continuing to use Reelist after a change means you accept it.
